My Generation 1 iPod with scroll wheel just died a few months ago because the hard drive crashed, and now I have a lovely Generation 2. I am so tempted to take the 20 gig hard drive out of my gen 2 and put it in my gen 1 just for the scroll wheel. The original is so much better! No battle!
