Since all bets are made at the lunchroom, and since he has a big mouth ("it's all water and it is my favorite fruit in the world"), he has to eat a whole watermelon in under 30 minutes.

Or option 2 is to eat half a watermelon on a full stomach.

This is to learn once and for all for him to put his money where his mouth is.

This can be easily accomplished with a small size watermelon. You can find this kind of watermnelon in Asian (Chinese) supermarket. Typically, they are about 6-7 inches in diameter.
