I really liked the Kalaloch Lodge on the Olympic Pennisula (http://www.visitkalaloch.com. They have nice cabins with views of the ocean, a nearby beach, and lots of other random stuff to see in the area (I mostly checked out the big trees).

The restaurant is pretty decent (and they give you free dessert if you're horribly sunburned), and the cabins come with a stove - you can get ingredients at on-property store, or bring your own.

It's not too far away, so it's perfect for a weekend trip.
